Blackpool Tower
The tower was
opened in 1894 after 3 years of building. It housed a circus
between its 4 legs which is still open to this day (there are no
animals now). The magnificent ballroom still has the original
ornate decor and guilded plasterwork. The dancers are
entertained by the Wurlitzer organ made famous by Reginald Dixon,
who played it for 40 years. The ciliax of the tower tour is a
trip to the top. At 512 ft. the views are splendid and never
to be forgotten. The whole tour costs £11 per person.

Llandudno and the Isle of Man. Central pier was built in 1868
and was known as the peoples pier catering mainly for
promenaders. South pier was built in 1893.
